Jessica, Physical Therapist // Portraits

Jessica contacted me to take some new portraits for her expanding physical therapy business in DC called Martial Arts and Sports Physical Therapy, which concentrates on martial arts competitors, whether highly skilled or recreational. Jess has a 2nd degree Black Belt in Aikido and a Brown Belt in Dan Zan Ryu Jujitsu. She is also turning her specialties towards expectant mothers. Being a mother herself, she understands the needs for physical therapy during pregnancy and postpartum.  Martial Arts and Physical Therapy is rebranding and with that comes some new photos. I was lucky to also have her husband and son join us, too!

Welcome Eliana Grace

Eliana Grace is here!  She was 12 days late, but she finally arrived on June 11.  You might remember Elise and Mark's photos from May.  This baby was expected about a week after.  Nope, Eliana needed to have a grand entrance.


Elise and Mark's new little girl is adorable and so sweet.  She even cracked a little smile for me.  Ok, babies can't really smile at this age.  It was a little toot that forced that giggle, but I like to think that it was all for me.  


Congratulations!  I love being an Aunt!!

Connie+John // Wedding

Here are some of my favorite highlights from Connie and John's wedding on Saturday at The Links at Gettysburg golf club.  All had a lovely time despite the record heat wave.  Congratulations Connie and John!  What a wonderful day!!

Sunday Morning

What do you do the day after shooting a rockin' wedding for 7 hours, half of which was spent outside in an oppressive heat wave, and are waiting for 40GB of photos to download to your computer?  You make blueberry-n-blackberry pancakes with the family and post it on the blog.  Bon appetit!
